In shonen anime, friendship is one of the essential elements. In Many series are built around the main characters’ friendships, and these characters demonstrate how powerful these bonds can be.

Light from Death Note may not be their best friends, but they are a famous duo. The Light became a terrible serial killer after obtaining the Death Note, and L was assigned to apprehend him.
In multiple instances, the two intellectuals combined their intelligence, and it was evident that they had formed a special bond in a short time. However, due to unexpected events, Light lost his memory and linked up with L. to capture Kira.
Katsura & Gintoki:

Except for two things: their passion for volleyball and their intense stubbornness, they’re opposites in every way. It was clear from the first second these two appeared on TV together that they would make a great team.
Sure, they fight all the time and can’t be called friends, but they are teammates who always have each other’s backs. That proved to be all that was required for them to find some common ground.
Guts & Puck:
In the end, Griffith’s betrayal resulted in the deaths of practically every member of the mercenary crew, bringing his exhilaration to an abrupt end. Guts had lost faith in everyone after Gambino’s betrayal, and that only changed when he met the Band of Hawk.
