Suicide Squad is an adaptation of DC graphic novels and tells about a group consisting of Deadshot (Will Smith), Joker (Jared Leto), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Captain Boomerang (Jay Courtney), Enchantress (Cara Delevingne) and, in fact, squad leader – Rick Flag. Well, let’s get started!

Rick Flag completes assignments with the Squad. He’s not a criminal like the others. His job is to do what is right and right. The hero fights with Deadshot for the right to be called the field leader of the Squad.

In fact, Deadshot is the leader of the suicide squad, although, as we mentioned above, he is not the only one who considers himself in charge. The real name of the hero is Floyd Lawton. According to the comics, Deadshot is a contract killer who does any interesting job. The character’s target is the famous Batman. Interestingly, he wants to strike up a relationship with Harley Quinn. But as DC comics fans know, Harley Quinn is madly in love with the Joker. Maybe there will be a love triangle in the new film?

The character often uses pistols attached to his wrist, but in the role of Deadshot we will see the famous Will Smith. The actor starred in such films as “I Am Legend”, “Men in Black”, “Focus”, etc. In the latter, he played with Margot Robbie, who also got a role in The Squad.

Joker And Harley Quinn.

The great psychopath of the DC world and his partner most often became the enemies of Batman. Jared Leto will play, as you already read, the Joker. The world famous actor and singer took up this role without hesitation. Having undergone colossal changes in appearance, he became a real hero of the famous comics. Before becoming a villain, Harlene Quinzel worked as a psychiatrist at Arkham Asylum. The Joker and Harlene met at the hospital, where the girl irrevocably fell in love with a psycho, and then became his assistant, choosing the name Harley Quinn for herself. The image of the heroine was created specifically for the animated series “Batman”, and only after that she appeared in the comics.

The team has someone who at first glance looks out of place: one of the Flash’s enemies, Captain Boomerang, who will be played in the film by actor Jay Courtney, famous for such films as Terminator Genesis, Divergent, etc. In general, the character looks stupid rather than intimidating, which Courtney shared with everyone when he was cast. Digger is a beautifully built soldier who masterfully wields various boomerangs. The character never possessed any superpowers, which cannot be said about his son Owen, who was able to develop super speed.

Let’s go back to the female part of the squad and tell you about the Enchantress. The sorceress is a sorceress who has a mental illness – multiple personality disorder. On the one hand, she acts as a positive heroine who works in a team created to fight the Specter, but when she goes to the dark side, she joins the Suicide Squad.
