Vic Stone, a longtime leader of the Teen Titans & current member of a Justice League, is a half-human, half-cyborg who strives to maintain his humanity with each new upgrade.
Despite the fact that he always demonstrated a genius intellect, young Victor Stone did not want his life to be devoted only to science and research, like his parents. Instead, Vic dreamed of becoming a footballer and devoted all of his time to becoming a star athlete. However, his life turned out differently due to a tragic incident that should have been fatal for him.
He was saved by his father – Silas Stone – a brilliant scientist. Since little of Victor’s body was left unharmed by the accident. Stone the Elder used all his advanced scientific knowledge to save the life of an only child and transform him into a higher being. Which is perhaps now more a machine than a human. Victor did not ask his father about it, but he was left with no choice.
As a cyborg, Vic became much stronger than an ordinary human, could interact with computers and emit various types of energy. Which made him a very formidable fighter. So in a way, the Justice League is lucky that it ultimately chose the path of a superhero. Unfortunately, Victor was never able to fully adapt to being only partially human. He lives with great sadness inside, because he grieves for a normal human life. Which he simply did not have time to live.
Cyborg – A Bridge Between Technology And Humanity
Bryan Hitch’s Justice League of America: Power and Glory
One of the planet’s greatest heroes, Cyborg, however, throws off all his inner difficulties when it comes to saving the lives of innocent citizens and protecting the Earth.
As advances in technology continue to blur the line between cars and gadgets. That people enjoy and those that are literally part of our existence, more and more films will continue to portray the future that lies ahead.
It is no exaggeration to say with confidence that as the fusion of human biology with technology becomes a reality. Cyborg becomes a living embodiment of hopes and warnings about what should happen in the future.
Beyond Cyborg’s origins, recent storylines have shown. That a character experiencing “where the machine ends and humanity begins” can shed new light on many other characters in the DC Universe. Such as Brainiac, Metallo, Cyborg Superman, and Metal people. It seems that in a world already inhabited by aliens and demigods. Introducing and expanding the idea of artificial intelligence is a wise and logical step.
